Bengaluru - Silicon Valley of India :
Bengaluru is the capital and largest city in the Indian state of Karnataka. With a population of over 6 million, Bengaluru is the third largest city in India and 27th largest city in the world. Bangalore is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the country, with over 62% of the city's population comprising migrants from other parts of India. Historically a multicultural city, Bangalore has experienced a dramatic social and cultural change with the advent of the liberalization and expansion of the information technology and business process outsourcing industries in India. IT companies in Bangalore employ over 35% of India's pool of 1 million IT professionals.
How to Reach Bengaluru :
Bengaluru has two important railway stations - Bengaluru City Railway Station and Yeswantpur Junction. Both railway stations have regular trains running from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and other major cities. Well-connected by a network of buses from cities like Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Mangalore. The options range from regular buses to air-conditioned, Volvo and sleeper coaches. Extremely well-connected by regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai and most other important cities in India and also has international carriers flowing in and out of the Bengaluru International Airport, which is located about 40 kms from the main city.
PEDICON 2017, 54th Annual Conference of the Indian Academy of pediatrics (IAP) will be held at the Place Ground Gayathri Vihar, Bengaluru.
Inauguration of the conference will be held in the evening of 19th January 2017 at the conference venue The Palace Ground, Bengaluru, followed by cultural entertainment with inaugural dinner.
